How To Change The Direction Of Your Life - Read 10 Pages A Day

There is one simple thing you can do every day to change your life... read 10 pages a day.
It's easy to do... it's easy not to do.
"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." - Dr. Seuss: I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!
Make the commitment to read 10 pages a day. That's it!
Why?
"People from all walks of life, people with some of the most incredible life experiences, people that have gone from pennies to fortune and from failure to success have taken the time to write down their experiences so that we might share in their wealth of knowledge. They have offered their wisdom and experience so that we can be inspired by it and instructed by it, and so that we can amend our philosophy by it. Their contributions enable us to reset our sail based upon their experiences. They have handed us the gift of their insights so that we can change our plans, if need be, in order to avoid their errors. We can rearrange our lives based on their wise advice." -Jim Rohn
Easy to do. It's just a matter of deciding, a matter of doing.
But the excuses begin to pour forth as soon as the challenge is given to read 10 pages a day. I don't have time to read because... Books cost too much, I can't afford to read good books... I don't know what to read...
Let's break down these excuses for not reading into simple insights to help you develop this incredible life changing habit.
I Have No Time To Read Reading is a discipline. If you are committed to changing your life, then you will develop the habit to read 10 pages a day.
If you understand the value of reading, you would become disciplined just like the athlete who devotes his time to training and developing skills. Easy to do.
But easy not to do... books don't jump into your hands... they sit there quietly, gathering dust, waiting to be opened and read, devoured by eager minds.
"No matter how busy you may think you are, you must find time for reading, or surrender yourself to self-chosen ignorance." - Confucius
I Can't Afford Books To Read Nonsense! Books are free at the library. In fact, only 3% of the national population owns a library card. The library shelves are filled to overflowing with classics, biographies and self-development books... all at no cost to you.
Own a computer? You can find a used book to purchase for a few dollars at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Abe Books. Plus, many of the classic self- development books are available to download for free.
With technology advances, we now have Kindles and Nooks that make access to books an instant transaction. What's more, Kindle and Nook owners can share their library of books they have read with other owners.
Easy to do... easy not to do.
It isn't what the book costs; it's what it will cost if you don't read it. -Jim Rohn
I Don't Know What To Read What do you want to change in your life? Find books on that subject and begin to read 10 pages a day.
"The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours" - Alan Bennett, The History Boys: The Film

We're Bruce and Trisha of the Naked Hippies Road Trip!! We absolutely DO live life fully - gave up our house in the suburbs, got rid of tons of stuff and moved to the banks of the Missouri River to live at a private campground. (No, it isn't a nudist campground!) It was where we started to take the steps toward our dream of living and traveling full time in our RV. We started out bare bones naked - nothin' to our name except our tent and essential stuff - and now we're living full time in our RV! Got a dream? We'll share the Naked Truth about all the ups and downs we've experienced - lessons learned - and how we can help you live your dream now - not in two years, not in twenty years, but NOW!
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."~ Mark Twain
